Andrew Pritchard is the director of Iceland, the frozen food retailer that sponsors ITV’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!
He helped set up the company in 1970 with one shop. By 1989, 465 shops were already in operation, and it eventually grew to more than 800 store locations. The company was named 2010 discount retailer of the year. In 2009-10, profits at the Clwyd-based operation came were $139.57 million on more than $2.79 billion of sales. Andrew Pritchard eventually sold his stake in the value supermarket Iceland Foods to a consortium led by Malcolm Walker.
