Jenna Frumes may have recently had choice words for the father of her child, Jason Derulo, but that didn’t stop the singer from buying her a $3.6 million home.

According to TMZ, Jason purchased the home in March for his ex-girlfriend and their son, Jason King, to live in. The former couple are reportedly amicably co-parenting but under different roofs.

Despite their relationship status – or lack of one, that is – Jason spared no expense the new home. It reportedly comes with over 5,000 square feet of living space, including 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The home’s other features include a soundproof movie theatre, outdoor farmhouse, BBQ area, and a pool with a built-in spa and waterfall.

The modern farmhouse was constructed in 2020. It sold the same year for $3.3 million, so Jason paid only a slightly higher price when he copped it this year.

Dirt reports that Jason bought the home after her saw a career resurgence earlier this year. The singer’s pre-pandemic music went largely unnoticed. Jason eventually left his record label Warner Bros. in 2020 amid “creative differences.”

However, Jason found success on a new platform – TikTok. The R&B musician began making videos in lockdown, and he’s since become the 14^th most followed person on the social media site. It’s also helped re-launch his music career.

Although his career has been thriving, the same can’t be said for Jason’s personal life. Jason and Jena initially split in September 2021, only four months after their son was born. However, the Instagram model only recently opened up about their split to allege Jason was unfaithful.

“ It’s unfortunate my situation didn’t work out because we once did aspire to be married but maybe it’s best to be single than to be in a relationship & constantly be disrespected & cheated on and lied to,” she wrote on Instagram in June.

“Or is it better to stay & be quiet so people like you… approve?” Jena continued.

“Women really don’t deserve to be treated and judged the way they are. No one aspires to be a single mom,” she concluded her post. “It’s the biggest heartbreak and failure for me personally knowing I’m alone in this. But if your non-negotiables are being tested you’ll never find peace in that relationship.”

Jason hasn’t responded to Jena’s claims of infidelity. But he did only have kind words to say to her when announcing their break-up last year.

“Jena and I have decided to part ways,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet. “She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy [at] this time.”
