Harvard graduate, philanthropist, and jewelry designer, Joan Hornig, is giving 100% of her jewelry sale profits to charities around the world. From a young age, Joan had a dream of making big changes in the world by advocating for those in need, promoting education, and focusing on social activism. She recently spoke with Kate Matthams at Forbes and said, "I made a deal with myself when I walked down the aisle, that by the time I was 50, I would be giving 100% of what I earned back to good causes. I have never forgotten that commitment and Generation Z is now reaching the same age. They are all about learning and being inspired; it's a generation to look to.". Joan Hornig has a long history of philanthropic pursuits. She worked as a fundraiser for both Harvard University and the Columbia Business School, and then went on to have a successful 2-decade long career on Wall Street.
